Can this light be left on continuously?
Can this light be left on continuously?
This would really depend on the details of what is meant by "continuously." For a variety of reasons an LED option would likely be the better solution for long-term use.
This may be an application that would benefit from further discussion. If possible please contact me to go over the details. I can be reached by phone or email.

question
Is it possible to fit barn doors and a metal wire scrim in the slot at the same time?
The Altman 65Q is only designed to hold one accessory at a time. The Altman 1KAF Fresnel is an alternate option that does ship with a Safety Screen and has a double accessory slot to allow for the use of the screen and a barndoor at the same time. http://www.altmanlighting.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/1KAF.pdf

question
What softbox or diffuser to use with this light? I am hanging it from the ceiling and need a softer shadow on my greenscreen and subjects.
It is not designed for a softbox, however the included accessory or gel frame can be used. Simply buy a few small sheets of diffusion from B & H and insert into gel frame. You can also buy black wrap to take light spill away from certain areas of the fixture - and you can also use it as a cheap cutter . The sample packs of diffusion from B & H are ideal - they include the heavier 250 and go all the way to light diffusions like Hampshire and Opal .

question
What kind of bulbs to use for this product?
The most common bulbs are BTL and BTN. They are 500 & 750 watt bulbs. 750W is the highest wattage you can use. There are more uncommon bulbs that will fit as well, such as 565w or 600w.
