Nice strong little handle. Basic but well thought out. Used as a side handle on Komodo.

Perfect size for lightweight setups. Solid hold on nato rail. the adjustable centerpoint is really nice for moving around the camera as needed.

Perfect for switching from tripod to gimbal.

I have the SmallRig cage for my BMPCC4K. I wanted to have a handle with hot shoe mounts that had a NATO rail system to work with the NATO rail on the front of my BMPCC4K cage. This would enable me to quickly remove the monitor from the top of my camera, so I could attach the camera to my gimbal. Thankfully there is a hot shoe mount at the front of the handle, and on the back. The back hot shoe mount enables me to add my RODE Wireless GO mic unit to the handle so I can shoot wirelessly when on a tripod. The SmallRig cage has hot shoe mounts so I can also add my Wireless GO unit to the cage when shooting on a gimbal. All in all, this is the best handle I found for my camera cage for shooting videos.

Well build and light

It looks heavy from the photo but it is not. The metal is hollow out inside to reduce weight. It is very well constructed and machined. I like the adjustability which really helps in the weight distribution of when carrying the top handle. The only thing that I don't like is the Allen key that is provided. It is slightly smaller than the actual fit, so it doesn't work well with the screws.

Fits poorly on BMPCC 6K

I recently purchased the Pocket 6K and many accessories to build out the rig for the camera, this handle being one of those parts. When used in conjunction with the Smallrig full cage, 2203, the handle only fits far off on the side of the top nato rail as the knob for tightening gets caught on the camera and can't move forward when the handle is placed in the center. Really like the features of the handle, but was just a little confused about how it works with the 6K.

It is where you want it to be.

I had another one, and was happy but not really satisfied. Then i searched for a handle which you can position where you like it. The balance of my rig is now better, because the Atomos is more to the back. This handle is perfect for that. On the right side i put a NATO rail so i can detach my wooden grip from the right side of the camera and put in on the top handle, so it perfectly fits my camera bag. This top handle is the best i could imagine.

Love that you can slide the handle forward and back.
