The PH-50 is a five headphone distribution amplifier. Each of the five outputs has its own amplifier as well as a level control. Multiple units can also be cascaded to handle a large number of listeners, making it ideal for orchestral, multimedia, education and trade-show applications.
The PH-50 has a feature that makes it very useful in the studio environment. The talkback output from a mixer can be sent to an auxiliary input, complete with level control, and distributed to all the headphone outputs. This makes it very useful as a cue system for more effective communication between engineer/producer and the musicians.
