Apple has spent ten years converting its system ...

Apple has spent ten years converting its system from from 32 to 64 bit. Which does this computer have?
Asked by: Bruce
The computer can run software in 32 or 64 bit modes if you have the correct OS. For example if you have Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6 you can run software in 32 bit mode. However if you "upgrade" (if you believe that is a better option) to MacOS Catalina you can only run 64 bit mode software. If somebody really cares about it I am not upgrading to MacOS Catalina because I own very good and very important software in 32 bit mode that I can not (repeat to those apple "EXPERTS") I can not live without. I hope this can be helpful to you.

Does it come with international warranty?

Does it come with international warranty?
Asked by: Prabal
It comes with standard Apple Care like any new Apple computer. You can buy additional Apple Care + coverage for extra. You would have to look at apples international terms and conditions for Apple care. The warranty Would be through Apple not B&H (unless BH has a standard warranty for products) Alternatively you could buy insurance through another company in your area after purchase.

Does it come with OS Mojave? I do NOT want Catalina
Asked by: Richard
I'm not sure. When I bought mine, I brought the unopened box directly to an authorized Apple repair shop where the technician performed what I called a "soul transplant," getting everything off my old MacBook Pro (which had fried itself after 10 years of continuous use) and transferred it all to the new 15.3 MacBook Pro. Only few apps needed upgrading. I stuck with High Sierra because I had heard that some of the older apps that I used interacted in negative ways with some of the new operating systems. Every day starts with a message to upgrade the OS, but I see no need to create problems for myself when all my apps work (almost) perfectly with High Sierra.

model number?

model number?
Asked by: Mary
I no I’mlonger have that laptop. The keyboard quality was very poor, so I traded it toward the 16” when it was introduced. I’m still unhappy with the Touch Bar. I’ve done all I could find to turn off the Touch Bar, but it still picks up unintentional key presses.

Does it have Ethernet RJ45 connector? How do you connect to Internet besides the WiFi?
Asked by: Ray
No. This would not have an Ethernet Port, you would need an adapter or dock/hub

I feel silly asking this, but is there a catch I'm missing? How can a NEW 15 inch, 32 GB RAM, 512 GB 2.6GHz intel core i7 2018 Mac be just a little over $2000? Seems a little too good to be true...?
Asked by: Libby
This is probably due to the fact that there's a newer model available from Apple. Last year, I paid over $3k for this model at these specs at the time.

question

does this support 100% P3 on the retina display? what about for external monitors also?
Asked by: Steven K.
Apple does not specify the percentage of the P3 coverage on the Apple 15.4" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (Mid 2018, Space Gray) BH #APMBPMR9356 It can support it externally, assuming the external monitor is also capable of displaying 100% of the P3 color space.
