The DS RGBW LED Light Module from Digital Sputnik is the interchangeable lynchpin of the modular DS LED system. This listing is for the module only and requires a power supply for use.

Able to output light equivalent to that of a 100W HMI or a 500W tungsten fixture while measuring just 4 x 4", the module packs a huge amount of power in a very small package. Outfitted with its required PSU, The RGBW module provides color temperature adjustment from 1500 to 10,000K with Hue and Saturation control, allowing it to render literally millions of colors. The fixture offers a focused beam angle of 20° along with flicker-free dimming from 0-100% for maximum flexibility. Both dimming and color control can be adjusted manually on the fixture or remotely via DMX or ArtNet.

Using the optional PSU, the module can be run off batteries thanks to its dual V-mount battery plate setup, or it can be powered by mains current using the included, worldwide 90-260 VAC adapter.

Modular Design
All the DS line products use the same interchangeable light module as the core of the system. You can pick between a variety of accessories to shape the lighting fixture.
Color Science
Each light module has been factory calibrated with a profile saved into every module. Constant color coordinates are kept through the dimming range using high-precision, multi-dimensional LUTs (lookup tables). All channels are 16-bit flicker-free, current-controlled with proprietary four-channel HSL (hue, saturation, lightness) controls that allow for dimming the light with the exact mixture of white balance and tint.
Hybrid Thermal Design
The system uses passive and active cooling for maximum efficiency, keeping the modules at constant temperature to minimize fluctuations of output and color. It is possible to remotely control the fan speed over DMX/RDM or ArtNet.
The system provides advanced RGB mixing, on par with professional colorist tools. The DS tools are an RGB LED solution able to challenge the output of widely used HMI technology.
Technology developments do not stand still over the years, so the whole line DS products is designed to maintain its value by Digital Sputnik's offer of gradual software and hardware upgrades. Most hardware upgrades are available as kits.
LightGrading App
The LightGrading control software offers a simple and intuitive approach to lighting, allowing the cinematographer to navigate the lights and their parameters from a phone app, grading and achieving the look instead of grading the image later in post-production.
