Has Panasonic addressed the dust problem? The ...

Has Panasonic addressed the dust problem? The last answer was 2 1/2 years ago, and it seems that Panasonic should have this fixed by now. Also, have they "firmed up" the rotation of the exposure comp dial? This was one of the criticisms earlier. It seems that for a $1k camera, Panasonic ought to be on the ball with these things.
Asked by: John
According to Panasonic, in the Mark II version they improved the gaskets in the lens to help reduce the dust issue. However, any point and shoot, because of the constant zooming in and out, especially when turned on and off, can often over time lead to some dust working its way in. So though Panasonic has addressed the issue and done their best to fix it, the possibility that dust can get into the camera will still be present.

Does this camera come with a battery charger ...

Does this camera come with a battery charger and/or extra battery? The previous answered question is not clear at all. The "in the box" section says it comes with an "AC adapter" but does not mention the travel kit that the previous answerer mentioned. This ought to be a simple yes or no answer.
Asked by: John
no it does not. it has one battery and you chaege it in the camera. YOu can buy a charger and additional battery separately.

Have they addressed the issue of dirt in the sensor? I've had to take my LX100 apart several times to clean the sensor.

This seems to have the same specs and same look and feel as the new Leice D-Lux 7. Since Panasonic now owns Leica, can we assume this is pretty much the same camera, except with a Lumix label on it?
Asked by: Anonymous
They are similar , leica has a different processor so the image quality would be slightly better
