V-FLAT WORLD Foldable V-Flat Reviews
Love my V-Flats
Can't say enough about the ease of use, storage, mobility and versatility of these V-Flats.
Great for headshots
I didn't think this could be worth the money, but it is. It is super helpful and folds up flat, with a carrying bag. Definitely helps perfect my headshots.
V-Flat is so Cool
I received two V-Flats and they work great to add or take away light and also as back drops! Wonderful and well-worth the investment!
It's a big foam core reflector, or blocker
I was pleased that it arrived undamaged. You should know it is not seamless and awkward to move around unless you have long arms; but it does provide a wide white (or black) wall that is movable. It is a nice addition that works well in my studio and I am pleased with the results using it as a reflector for single light portraits.
V-FLAT WORLD Foldable V-Flat (Black/White)
This is my first time use V-FLAT WORLD Foldable V-Flat (Black/White) its very easy to use for light reflection in studio Tom
Just buy it already
I did the whole DIY journey to making my own v-flats but my results were never that good. I thought it would significantly save money to do so but when you consider the time and materials to pull off a professional-looking result, it's actually a pretty good deal. I like the design. It does require some editing in post if you're using it for a background, though, since the fold lines will be visible.
Love my V-Flats - I use them all the time as fill or backgrounds for portraits.
Holds up Better if Kept in Studio
Like several other reviewers have noted, I agree these are worth the price vs. trying to make something like them yourself. Versatile provided you have sufficient space to move & fold them. Biggest issue is that it only took one location shoot for mine to get pretty dinged up - since it's really just thick foam core-type boards. If you want to keep one in more pristine shape to use as an actual backdrop then it would be best kept in studio and not moved around much. That said, it was pretty easy to transport using the included bag. Measure your vehicle to make sure it's wide enough, but they're lightweight and slide right on top of everything else in my hatchback.
