Is this lens good for astrophotography?

This lens is acceptable for astro but you would be better served by getting a fast prime lens. I would recommend the Rokinon 16mm 2.0, click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/2D3cxQp and with a higher price tag and excellent low light and optics, the Sigma 14mm; https://bhpho.to/2VHPBfU

Does this lens have AF on the Nikon D750?
Asked by: Sean
Could I know the reason of this strange question? Just go to Tamron site and read the notes. Of course AF works with D750 or D850 and more. You don't need to post a question here.

Can I use this on my Nikon F-5 film camera?

Can I use this on my Nikon F-5 film camera?
Asked by: robert
I do not know. However, it is a full-frame Nikon compatible lens with CPU aperture and autofocus so it really ought to work. The Nikon F5 is portrayed with "G" series lens; in other words the body talks to the lens to set aperture so it ought to work with a high degree of confidence. This lens is the second most frequent lens on my Nikon D-850. Relatively lightweight and works great with a DJI Ronin-S gimbal.

Unfortunately this lens uses a new electronic aperture system that is not compatible with the D50. In this link there is a list of cameras that are compatible with this new electronic aperture control. https://www.tamron.jp/en/product/lenses/electromagnetic_diaphragm.html

This is a pretty good landscape lens if I’m reading everything correctly. Correct?
Asked by: Mike
If you are using a Nikon DSLR camera that has an APS-C DX sensor, then yes, the Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD Lens for Nikon F, B&H # TA102435DIN, would be a good lens for use to capture landscape photography. If you need a wider lens for your landscape usage needs, the Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX-II 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon F B&H # TO111628PNII, and the Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens for Nikon F,B&H # TA153028N, would also be good options for your usage needs.

The Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-4 DI OSD Lens for Nikon F, B&H # TA1735284N, is designed to cover the 35mm Full-Frame (FX) sensor, and would be fully compatible for use on the Nikon D750 DSLR camera. However, do note the lens can be used on both full-frame and APS-C cropped sensor cameras.
