Designed for network devices, corporate servers, telecom installations, data centers, and other electrically demanding environments, the MBP20A6 Maintenance Bypass PDU from CyberPower allows for the seamless transfer of an electrical load from UPS power to utility power for the uninterrupted operation of connected equipment. This is useful while performing maintenance, replacing batteries, or installing a new UPS.
Connect this PDU to utility power using a 6' AC cord, while a 3.3' AC cord connects it to the output power of the UPS. The UPS draws input power using a dedicated NEMA 5-20R plug that is separate from the six additional NEMA 5-20R plugs that are used for connected devices. When the switch on the front of the MBP20A6 is turned from Normal to Bypass, or from Bypass to Normal, the power that it supplies to connected devices changes from one power source to another. There is also an LED display that indicates which power source is active.
Built using a rugged, industrial-grade metal housing, the MBP20A6 has a 1 RU form factor and can be mounted in a standard server rack. Its mounting hardware also enables it to be connected to a UPS for tower configurations.
