One issue is that card companies list capacity in the decimal numeral system, whereas computers measure in the binary system. Right of the bat the 120GB card will list a capacity of about 111GB in the binary system a computer uses. You then loose some space to formatting and system data. It should be about 108GB, but this will vary based on use.
