GoPro HERO7 Black

The GoPro Hero 7 will work with microSD up to 256 GB.

In 4K 60 mode Wide is the only field of view available. You will however have Wide and Superview in 4K 30 mode.

GoPro cameras are not meant for use as surveillance as these cameras are meant for recording Point of View visuals, and recording to a memory card. You will need to consider GoPro's are not meant to run for the same time period as surveillance cameras, nor will it have the storage capacity to run for months at a time like a surveillance camera.   I would highly recommend speaking to our surveillance team as they will have details on available camera options to fully meet your needs. 

The GoPro HERO7 Black (Dusk White Limited Edition and the GoPro HERO7 Black are the same cameras, but will differ in body color.

The camera gives you the option to choose. If you have a computer that is capable of handling H.265 you are welcome to choose that. if not then you should choose to record in h.264.

Yes it is normal for the camera to get warm after recording for extended periods of time.

That depends on how you want to use the camera and specifically which Iphone you are comparing it to. Gopros excel at being a specialty camcorder its small size makes it capable of being mounted in a place normal cameras and smartphones wouldn't normally fit The fact that it can be remotely controlled makes it much easier to use if filming yourself The wide angle lens makes it easy to use in confined spaces where the camera has to be close to the subject and, most of all, Gopros are significantly tougher than any smartphone. They're great action cameras for mounting on bikes, cars, and other potentially dangerous areas. Therefore Gopros have lots of strengths over iphones or any smartphone camera.
