The Powerhouse Daylight LED Monolight from Genaray is a powerful continuous light source with a host of features that make it a valuable fixture for image-makers in the studio. While the monolight consumes just 330W of power it outputs many times that number - 63,000 lux - enough to stand up to the demands of softboxes, umbrellas and other modifiers. The light has a solid 5600K color temperature - ideal for a wide variety of uses, while its high CRI/TLCI rating of 95 indicates accuracy in the rendering color minimizing post-production color correction.

The Powerhouse is dimmable from 100 to 0% in 10% increments, and while you can make adjustments in light intensity on the fixture, you can also make them remotely at distances up to 300' thanks to an integrated 2.4 GHz receiver and the included wireless remote control. The wireless system has 16 channels to avoid interference with other shooters and 5 distinct groups to handle multiple lighting setups. The Powerhouse has a 5/8" receiver for industry standard light stands, and a Bowens front accessory mount for the included 7" reflector or for light-shapers from the many manufacturers that use this popular mount. As a further sign of versatility, the Powerhouse is ready for worldwide use thanks to the included 100 to 240 VAC adapter.

Impressive Power - 63,000 lux

While the monolight consumes just 330W of power it outputs many times that number: a whopping 63,000 lux - enough to stand up to the demands of softboxes, umbrellas, and other modifiers or for long throw work lighting distant subjects

Daylight Color Temperature

The Daylight Color Temperature of 5600K is a good match for existing light and is compatible with a wide variety of subjects and uses

Color Rendering

CRI/TLCI ratings of 95/95 are indicators of accuracy in color rendering minimizing post-production color correction

Wireless Remote Control

Built-in receiver and included wireless remote control system has 16 channels and five groups for light intensity adjustments at distances up to 300'

COB LED Array

Chip-on-board (COB) technology not only allows high power from a small array, but eliminates multiple shadows that are a problem for traditional LEDs

Fan Cooling

The fan may be quiet enough to be used on the set. Fan-cooling allows the Powerhouse to run barely warm to touch, resulting in quicker packing and moving times, lower studio temperatures and electrical bills, and greater comfort for the talent.

Built-in Handle

The monolight's built-in handle makes set up and break down fast and easy

Umbrella Compatible

The included 7" reflector has a convenient umbrella pass-through

Bowens Mount

The Bowens-Type front accessory mount allows you to add accessories such as reflectors, softboxes, and snoots made by the many manufacturers that use the popular Bowens mount

Which fan is louder? The fan in the fixture or the fan in the ballast?
Asked by: NICHOLAS
I think I mistakenly answer a Genaray Radiance FAN ballast question on the Powerhouse question as someone was asking a Radiance question here. To clarify. Genaray radiance (silent) NO FAN in the ballast. The opening is for ventilation (passive) Genaray Powerhouse: yes, fan in the power supply
