The BackPacker S Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod from MeFOTO is a five-section tripod with a maximum height of 54.7", a load capacity of 13.2 lb, and an Arca-type compatible ball head with a quick release plate. The black anodized aluminum twist locks are knurled for a comfortable grip while opening and folding the carbon fiber legs. One of the legs features a rubberized sleeve for comfortable handling and can be unscrewed and attached to the removable rapid center column to become a full-featured monopod with ball head. This monopod can be used in shooting conditions where a tripod may be too bulky or slow for use, like when shooting wildlife or sports.

The BackPacker S Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod from MeFOTO is a five-section tripod with a maximum height of 54.7", a load capacity of 13.2 lb, and an Arca-type compatible ball head with a quick release plate. The black anodized aluminum twist locks are knurled for a comfortable grip while opening and folding the carbon fiber legs. One of the legs features a rubberized sleeve for comfortable handling and can be unscrewed and attached to the removable rapid center column to become a full-featured monopod with ball head. This monopod can be used in shooting conditions where a tripod may be too bulky or slow for use, like when shooting wildlife or sports.

Whether using one leg or three, the Backpacker S is well suited for use with compact video cameras, mirrorless cameras, and DLSRs when shooting still or video content. This lightweight tripod weighs only 2.2 lb, and the legs fold in the reverse to a length of 13.2", making it convenient to store and transport.

You can unscrew the ballhead from the center column. Make sure all locks are tight on the Ballhead then you can unscrew.
