I've owned this tripod for 10 years and one of the flick lock leg adjusters finally broke. Ordering it again cuz this thing is a beast. BEAST MODE TRUST POD. Lighter and more stable than tripods 5x the price. The ball head isnt the best though so I use a different one.

great for travels and mirroless!

I have a $700 carbon fiber tripod whick I loved. Need it something lightweight at a reasonable price for my a7R3. This Dolica tripod fits the bill. Im 5'11 tall. For a long term review, will update in a few months.

This is my first tripod. So far it has worked great. The tripod at full extension is much more stable than I thought it would be. Very pleased.

Terrific value.

After trying some lower priced tripods for my daughter in law, they were disappointing because of the cheap plastic hub and adjustment cranks. This one has a metal base. The head is a bit weak but I will replace that. The price was half that of fully solid tripods. No match for my Vanguard and 3 Legged Thing units but certainly a great deal.

This aluminum tripod is light and simple to use. I have been using it for both my SLR camera and binoculars. Small levels are easy to read, the ball head and the lock and release are very easy to operate.

Best Deal for the features

It is a sturdy tripod with a strong ball head joint. The leg clasps are plastic, but seem strong. This seems to be the only tripod around $50 that was strong aluminum, spiked feet, and had a hook for weighing the tripod down. there are no gimmicks or weird heads, just something simple that seems to work. I maybe swap out the head in the future.

Cheap, but large, heavy, and unstable

This tripod could handle a D7500 with a 35mm lens; as soon as I attached my 18-300 and brought it out to 300mm the ball head sagged no matter how much I tightened it, rendering it useless for its stated purpose. Overall size is ungainly and not suitable for long distance carrying. Carrying case is adequate. Performance in wind is poor. I replaced it with the now-discontinued Sirui T-25SK, which while more expensive is smaller, lighter, stiffer, and does *not* sag when I attach an APS-C telephoto lens to my camera. Not recommended. I recommend spending more money and getting a higher quality tripod and ball head.

Super pleased with this! We bought it for my photography for the candy company I work for - it supports my Canon EOS R and my Sigma 35mm 1.4 art lens without a problem. I was a little worried at first that it wouldn't be able to handle the weight, but so far so good!! I wish that the quick release plate was made out of metal instead of plastic or just seemed a little sturdier, but it still works just fine!
