Benro Tripster Travel 0 Series Tripod Reviews
Best travel tripod
I have been looking for a small light tripod that does not cost $700. I tried multiple including the Manfrotto element travel carbon small and a couple more. I wanted a tripod up to 2.4 lbs, that folds to less than 14" and can lower center column. There is probably only one YouTube videos on this tripod but based on the description ticked all boxes. It holds my Leica SL2-s with the 24-70 2.8 lens which is a heavy combo. In some angles I have to tight well the head to avoid drifting. It is a great solution for me. Try it.
Meets the Mark
I was looking for a light weigh replacement of an older tripod that broke. This meets the mark. The Tripster folds down small and is perfect for light travel photography. If I had one request, I wish the head was a little more solid. the arca quick-release is not as good as my old tripod and the head could be more sturdy.
Great lightweight travel tripod
Great travel tripod for medium loads. I already have a Benro aluminum travel tripod that I used for large DSLRs & lenses and loved it so I purchased this one for my Nikon Z7. I’m a semi-retired pro and wanted to lighten my kit and this little beauty fits the bill perfectly. Benro makes quality products and you can’t go wrong with one. Not for heavy DSLRs and big glass.
Compact
Had problems with center post locking down. But it is small light weight and got the job done
Hope denied
I wanted to love this tripod. It was lightweight yet should have been sturdy enough for my gear. First time I loaded it with my MSM star tracker, it could not hold the weight. My entire set up is about 6lb with camera, lens, tracker, and heads. This is suppose to be rated for 13lb. I was waiting for the weather to get right to try out the tracker set up again when I took it with me on a hike for a photo shoot. Just an average hike, no incline or rock scrambling, 3 miles total. I didn't need it so it stayed strapped to my bag, A leg fell off somewhere. Could I go back to the trail to try to find it, sure. But would I ever trust this thing to remain intact when I need it to? Absolutely not. What a waste of money, and, of course, it's after the return period.
Great
It’s lightweight, And sturdy. A great tripod especially when hiking.
Good Tripod
It works well with my 150-600mm lens for bird photography.
A great value
The ease of use along with a compact lightweight design offered at a fair price equals awesome value. I'm looking forward to utilizing the monopod and reversing the center column for some wide angle shots. An affordable travel solution.
