PolarPro M2P-CS Overview

The Cinema Series Vivid Collection for Mavic 2 Pro from PolarPro includes three neutral density/polarizing hybrid filters in a magnetic filter case. The case has been redesigned from previous versions to provide even more efficient access to the filters. The filters securely screw onto your Mavic 2 Pro in place of the stock UV filter without putting any weight strain on the gimbal.

The ND/PL filters cut the amount of light that enters your lens as well as reduce reflections. Blocking a certain amount of light allows you to open the iris, reduce the shutter speed, and shoot with longer exposures to achieve smoother, more cinematic images in bright outdoor environments. The ND/PL filters in this set also have polarization reference indicators laser-etched into the frames to allow for easier alignment.

The Cinema Series features production-grade multi-coated glass and PolarPro's AirFrame ultra-lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum construction with precision threading. Cinema Series filters are designed with hydrophobic coating that repels oils and water, optical ND coating that allows for optimal transmission while ensuring a hyper-neutral color profile, and scratch-resistant coating that increases surface hardness for a more durable exterior.

Key Features
  • Cinema Series multi-coated glass with AirFrame ultra-lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum construction
  • ND4/PL, ND8/PL, and ND16/PL filters cut light by 2, 3, and 4 f-stops, respectively, and reduce reflections
  • Magnetic filter case
  • Filters thread on in place of the drone's stock UV filter
  • Hydrophobic, optical ND, and scratch-resistant coatings
  • Polarization reference indicators etched into the frames for easier alignment

Debated for awhile which filters to get for my Mavic 2 Pro and have to say that I have no regrets buying this set. I haven't noticed anything wrong with my footage which means they are doing their job. I have not tried others but have no regrets with this set.

I will never buy ND/PL filters

This hybrid filters are real torture. I always adjust the polarization whether I want it or not before taking off, but these filters are good in only one direction, once i change the direction, the sky looks awful and I have to land the drone to adjust it, returning the drone drains the battery. Anyway, I don't recommend these hybrid filters.

Superb Quality

The images & videos I took with the use if these polarizers have greatly improved in quality. There are lots of ND CPL filters out there, but nine can compare to PolarPro.

Great!

I have used these ND filters several times already flying our Mavic 2 Pro, in sunny conditions and on gray days. They work great. They are a must have for shooting on sunny days. The 4 or 8 work fine on gray days but I was surprised to find that even the 16ND is not enough for a really bright sunny day and. of course, you can't stack them like you can on a mirrorless cameras lens. I'm going to add a variable ND that goes up to 32, next. In the future I may even go higher with addition Polar Pro filters.

Really great!

I just purchased these filters for my Mavic 2 Pro and they are excellent. I used them on a shoot last Friday and the clients were very happy with the results. Great build quality. With the 4-stop filter, I was able to lock my shutter speed and handle whatever the sun threw at me by simply changing the aperture slightly. Highly recommended!

Haven't tried them all yet but so far they appear to work as advertised. A little tricky to get on the first time but once you get the hang of it, it's a snap to installed and remove.

Hi, the post says they are for Mavic 2 PRO, but in the picture where from the case they look like the Mavic 2 Zoom, which one is correct?
Asked by: MOISES
These are defiantly for the Mavic 2 Pro and not the Zoom. I see they used the wrong image there though.
