Canon 2971C002 Reviews
Works like a charm
I bought this adapter to use my L series lenses on my Canon R. It works great and full function with all my lenses.
Works perfectly! So happy to be able to use all my old lenses on my new R5!
Fits tight, no play
Works as Advertised
Very smart of Canon to make this 1st-party. Good build quality, very sturdy. Saved me a lot of time and money being able to adapt all my EF glass, perfect for any Canon users looking to upgrade to an RF camera.
I have had a 3rd-party adapter ring on my R5 since I bought it in September 2021. The camera exhibited a wide range of weird behavior during this time, including heavy battery drain even when turned off, lock-ups that could only be cleared by removing the battery, etc. I had a crazy idea that maybe the adapter ring was the culprit, so I bought the Canon ring just to give it a try. Bingo. All the problems went away immediately. The Canon ring works perfectly, the images are sharp, and now the camera is working properly as well. Lesson learned: no more 3rd-party adapter rings!
My old canon lenses work perfectly with my EOS R6
All the functions of the camera and the lens work well. My only complaint is when taking the lens and the adapter off my EOS R6, sometimes you keep rotating the lens, and there is not a noticeable stop, and you have to go back (turn a little in the other direction) for the adapter to come off the camera body.
Staying on my 24-70 2.8L
Bought this EF-RF adapter for my Canon R6 to adapt my EF 24-70 2.8L. Works great. They do offer two other models that are a little more expensive. One has the new programmable RF control ring and the other has a ND or Polarizer filter holder built into it.
Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R
Works perfectly. Good option for transitioning from EF to RF glass.
