Can the auto-focus range be set on this. I want to use it for streaming but if I step out of frame I don't want it grabbing focus on the wall behind me.?
You can switch the minimum distance between the full range which is about 9 inches to 1.64 feet. Bryan Carnathan did an excellent review of this lens. You could also set the lens to manual focus in the camera menu.

NO, this lens should not mount on a 90D. This is an M-mount lens designed specifically for the Canon mirrorless bodies. While the is an adapter to mount EF and EF-S lens to the mirrorless bodies, I don't believe that one exists to mount M lenses on an EF body like the 90D.
