Filling in as the premium normal-length lens, the EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM from Canon is a 51.2mm-equivalent prime characterized by its impressively bright f/1.4 maximum aperture. This fast design affords increased control over depth of field for working with selective focus techniques, and also suits shooting in difficult lighting conditions. One aspherical element is used in the optical design, and helps to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion for improved sharpness and clarity throughout the aperture range. A Super Spectra Coating has also been applied to control flare and ghosting for greater contrast when shooting in bright or backlit conditions. Additionally, an STM motor is featured and provides quick, smooth, and precise autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override.

Canon EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM Reviews
I love this lens!
This 50mm equivalent prime lens is SUCH a huge improvement from the 15-45mm kit lens.
Great Length, excellent sharpness
This lens is a great length coming in at 51mm FF. Basically, a nifty 50 and the f1.4 is perfect for bokeh and low light situations. This is also one hell of a sharp lens. I took it to the local art walk and grabbed some crisp photos.
The EF-M 32mm f/1.4 is an outstanding professional 50mm equivalent prime lens in all aspects. It kills from wide open to f/11. Stopping down to f/1.6 improves light fall-off. Minimal distortion, edge to edge sharp, no focus shift, and excellent bokeh on close focus nature shots. Ideal uses are landscape/nature, general, street, and portrait. Finally a serious prime lens for APS-C!
A really nice lens to use.
This lens is a slight bit bigger than I expected, but so far has performed excellently. I really appreciate B&H's fine attention to my order. I received the lens quicker than I expected.
This would be a great addition to anyone's kit. Super sharp and fast.
Very clear & easy to use.
Very sharp. Color is very true. Way better than the zoom (15-45mm) kit lens
A little soft at widest apertures, but surprisingly versatile and sharp at f2.8. This is a perfect lens combo for my M6ii.
