It has a one year manufacturer's warranty. In my case, HP ended up having to replace the entire motherboard and speakers as they were not functioning right off the bat. UPS picked it up and after about a month it came back with UPS. HP did replace all the parts free of charge (though they accidentally kept 32 out of 64 Gb of my ram and had to send a technician out to my home to reinstall it). All the hardware repairs did not fix the DPC latency issues however, and that is not covered by the warranty. Basically, you will have a computer that is not capable of handling video and audio editing without stuttering and HP will not replace it even if it is under warranty. HP's warranty only covers hardware malfunctions, whether the computer fundamentally works or not their concern.
