Well made and a great value
I use this mount on a Z6 with the Ninja V, mounted on the side with the SmallRig L bracket that slides out some. It gives room for an on-camera mic. Back to this mount though ... its small/low, sturdy, easy to adjust, rotates ... just works. Definitely recommend.
Its a very affordable mount for my Atomos Ninja V. I like the fact that it doesnt raise the recorder very high and the locking mechanism is very solid.
I got the Shinobi. Its not all that big, but big enough to over power this. Remember, you also got a battery and an HDMI wire to add weight/pull on it. Sure if you tighten up the thing, it could do it, but then you wont have the adjustability. Its probably good for something lighter.
On even a small monitor (235g with an 80g battery) it won't get tight enough to hold monitor in place. Every movement causes the monitor to move making this useless IMHO
