This CAMVATE Quick Release Cage Kit with left-side wood handgrip is designed to support a wide range of select Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Panasonic DSLR cameras. The core of the aluminum alloy cage is a main vertical cheese rod with a choice of two lengths: 5.7 and 7.8". Attached to the main cheese rod are two horizontal arms, cold and hot shoes, a shoe connector, a top plate, a quick release baseplate, a wood top handle, and a wood left-side handgrip.
The adjustable C-frame design allows for either a maximum camera height of 3.6" with the 5.7" side cheese rod or 5.6" with the 7.8" side cheese rod. The cheese plate design provides numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes along with the hot and cold shoes to allow for a variety of accessory attachments. The padded quick release baseplate makes it easy to attach to 15mm rods and is compatible with standard Manfrotto plates.
