If you're on the fence because of the price, I promise you it's worth it! Aesthetically (for all you other OCD peeps), it looks so clean, and fits perfectly flush into the Ninja V (and I'm assuming the same with the other Atomos monitors) with zero rattle (if you know, you know). Also, you just can't put a price on having that peace of mind, while out in the field, of knowing that your SSD is working seamlessly with your monitor for a stress free experience both during shooting and in post production. Very highly recommended. On that note, I would also highly recommend the Atomos Powered Docking Station (Also available here at B&H) Happy Filming!!

Perfect companion to Ninja V

This SSD is built like a tank and is a perfect companion to the Ninja V. It is a bit pricey, but works great and I got it on sale. This is a cleaner solution than having the SSD caddy stick out beyond the edge of the Ninja V.

No ports is how they get ya!

'spensive. Doesn't come with a port or a dock that is easily used. USB-C. Which is cuck design mainly on laptops and macs at that. Just make it standard USB. Stop trying to be fancy and the space grey apple color isn't going to take the sting out of the price. Otherwise does what it promises.

The Angelbird Atomos Master Caddy 4K RAW (1TB), B&H # ANA4KR1000, has a slightly higher write speed of up to 520 MB/s compared to 500 MB/s on this drive. That is the only major difference besides the size of the unit.

Approximately how much recording time would I get with 4k60 422?

Part of the answer to this question depends on which camera you are using, for example whether it's recording time depends on overheating issues. However, you should get about 2 hours or so.
