Does this drive have a slight rattle to it when engaging in large sorts or copies. Is that normal, or is this one defective?
Asked by: Richard
I have not experienced that noise with the 4xG-Force HD's I have but I have had it happen on several other HD's that we have in the office. I have 32 HD in my office WD,Seagate,Toshiba and a Synology system they all make noise once in a while. I hope that's helpful. Somebody once said to me HD's all breakdown it just is a matter of time.

question

What is the difference between the regular and the pro usb series?
Asked by: Willem B.
My understanding is the Drive is faster. The pro specifically mentions the drive is 72000RPM, this does not mention the speed.

question

will this work with windows 10, also compared to wd which is better?
Asked by: lee s.
I switch back and forth from a Windows 7 to a 10 machine, and right out of the box, no issues there, however it does run on the high side of "warm" but not quite hot, But it is a heavy duty solidly build drive.
