Can this lens be used for motor racing events?? I currently use a prime 300 2.8 is i need to add tele converter to make it longer and remove it when i do not need it.
or what do you suggest for 2nd option lens??
Yes this 60-600 would work well for motor racing if you currently use 300mm 2.8 and want a longer or wider lens where you easily zoom. The downside is the aperture it narrower on the 60-600 so not as good in low light. Motor racing during the day shouldn't be a problem though. It has two holes as commented earlier. However, the foot is designed for a quick release mount. Why would you not put a QR clamp on your tripod or monopod for interchangeability or convenience?
