I Found myself in a bind recently, Run a Lot of Ethernet cable for one computer or purchase an N300. So i got the N300 because it was one of the few that had an Ethernet port on the bottom. Setup was simple and once done i was able to connect my PC that didn't have a WiFi card directly to it via the Ethernet port, and solved a huge problem fast. thanks netgear.

Used this to add Wi-Fi to a tv whose Wi-Fi board died. It worked like a charm and made the previously smart tv smart again! So glad I had this on hand!

Bought the extender to boost signal for a garage door opener. It was easy to install and accomplished the task. Bought another device that required a shorter password. Attempted to change the password and the page on the web was not functioning. Spent about an hour following instructions without success and was going to contact support when I found a workaround with the device I was installing.

Reliable, but lacking modern features

This device is aging out, however it is reliable. Doesn't support 2.4 and 5Ghz networks and also doesn't play well with captive portals at hotels. Range is good considering it's size.

Does the job very well

NETGEAR N300 Extender recommended. Sonal Gunasekera Write a positive review for a NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700) If you're looking for a reliable and affordable solution to extend the range of your Wi-Fi signal, the NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700) is an excellent choice. I recently purchased this device to help improve the connectivity in my home and I have been very pleased with the results. First off, the setup process was incredibly easy. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and I was able to get everything up and running in just a few minutes. I appreciated that I didn't need any technical knowledge or special tools to get started. Once the extender was set up, I noticed an immediate improvement in the strength and reliability of my Wi-Fi signal. Previously, I had dead zones in certain areas of my house where the signal just wouldn't reach, but now I can access the internet from anywhere in my home without any issues. The range on this device is impressive, and I've been able to connect to it from outside of my home as well. The speed is also very good, and I haven't noticed any lag or dropped connections since using it. Overall, I would highly recommend the NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700) to anyone looking to improve their Wi-Fi signal. It's a simple, affordable, and effective solution that has made a big difference in the connectivity of my home.
