Using far-field voice recognition technology, the built-in microphones allow the Echo Show to respond to your voice from any direction in the room, even while music is playing through its two 2" drivers, and with Amazon Alexa built-in, you can ask the Echo Show for the weather and traffic details for your commute, among other things. Bluetooth is also on-board, enabling the Echo Show to wirelessly pair and play audio from a variety of audio sources, such as smartphones and tablets, or to output to your compatible Bluetooth speaker.

Note:
Hands-free voice control is not supported for Mac OS X devices. Bluetooth speakers requiring PIN codes are not supported.

10.1" HD Touchscreen with Dolby Processing

With the onboard touchscreen, you can enjoy song lyrics and album art from Amazon Music; stream music and books from Spotify, Pandora, TuneIn, Audible, and more; and watch movie trailers, news briefings, Prime Video content, and live TV and sports with an optional Hulu subscription. Dolby processing helps you stream music and books in crisp stereo sound.

Always Ready to Help

The Echo Show is designed to be the kitchen companion that can also help you get more done in your day. Cook along to step-by-step recipes, set alarms and timers, add items to your to-do and shopping lists, see weather forecasts, calendars, photos, and more. The Echo Show is engineered to be visible across the room and to hear you even while music is playing.

Voice Control Your Smart Home

Alexa can control thousands of compatible smart home devices like security cameras, lights, thermostats, and more. Just ask it to show you the front door camera or brighten the kitchen lights. You can also set up and control compatible Zigbee smart home devices without a separate hub. Just say, "Alexa, discover my devices," and the Echo Show will discover and set up compatible devices so you can control them with your voice or on-screen. You can see your front door camera stream with 2-way audio and notifications.

Hands-Free Video Calling and Messaging

The Echo Show allows you to make video calls to friends and family who have the Alexa app, an Echo Spot, or an Echo Show. You can also voice call or message almost anyone, or instantly connect to other devices in your home to make a quick announcement or check in on the kids.

Alexa Skills

With over 50,000 skills and counting, Alexa is always expanding its functionality. Skills are like apps and let you do more, like play Jeopardy!, meditate with Headspace, or view your favorite beaches with Surfline. Just say, "Alexa, help me get started with skills." You can even create your own personal skills and custom responses with Alexa Skill Blueprints.

Accessibility Features

With the Echo Show, you can enable Alexa captioning and closed captioning, magnify the screen, toggle color inversion, and choose between color correction options. You can also enable the VoiceView screen reader to use gestures to navigate the screen and hear spoken feedback about the items you select.

Why is it when I try to log into my amazon account I won't work.
Asked by: Eñvy
You should just have to connect to your WiFi and log into your Amazon account and follow the on screen set up. You might want to try and make sure you entered your password correctly or reset your Amazon password if you believe you have the password correct and its not working.

Does it speaks in spanish?, I want to use it in México, thanks!
Asked by: Alejandro
With an update in late 2019, Amazon added the ability for Alexa to operate in more languages, including Spanish. Changing the language of your Alexa device means the device will only speak and operate in that language. However, be aware that changing the language of your Alexa device to Spanish may result in you not being able to access some functionality. Step 1. Launch the Alexa app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You'll land on your Alexa home screen. Step 2. Tap the "Menu" icon in the upper left corner of the screen. A menu flies in from the left side of the screen. Step 3. Tap "Settings" in the menu. The Settings screen appears. Step 4. Select "Device Settings" in the menu on the Settings screen. The All Devices screen appears displaying a list of all of your devices connected to Amazon Alexa. Step 5. Tap the name of the Alexa device where you want to change the language to Spanish. A screen appears for that Alexa device. Step 6. Tap the "Settings" icon in the upper right corner of this screen. The Device Settings screen appears. Step 7. Scroll down this screen, and then tap "Language" in the General section. The Language screen is displayed. Step 8. Tap the option associated with Espanol to choose the variation of Spanish you want your Alexa device to operate in. The Change Alexa's Language window appears if Spanish doesn't match the language associated with your Amazon account. Additionally, you may be notified that some features may not be available with the language your choosing. Tap "OK" to move forward with changing the language of your Alexa device to Spanish. Another window appears informing you that updating the language spoken by your Alexa device may take a few minutes. Tap "OK" again in this window. You'll see an Updating message beneath your chosen language, along with a check mark to the right of that language. The Updating message will disappear after the language has been successfully changed.
