Are the quick mount connectors compatible with go pro? I have a 3rd party action cam and I've gone ziplining where they have helmets with go pro mounts, but mine are just slightly different and won't click in. Will this one?

Can I power the unit through the usb so it runs continuously?
Yes you can if you use the adaptor cable and case for this model. Ive run it continuously from the usb on my motorcycle.
