Whether you're using your gimbal rig to shoot a wedding, an indie film, or a television commercial, make sure your images are perfectly sharp by using the ultra-thin 5.5" Full HD HDMI On-Camera Monitor with 4K Support from FeelWorld. Featuring a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, this IPS monitor enables you to accurately view the footage being captured. The monitor is calibrated for the Rec. 709 HD color standard to ensure accurate color reproduction. With a 160°-wide viewing angle and tiltable mounting arm, the FW568 makes it easy for multiple members of the crew to watch the footage at the same time.

Focus and Exposure Tools

The FW568's focus and exposure tools include focus peaking indicators (red, green, and blue) that highlight parts of the image in sharp focus. In addition, false color tools make it easy to properly set exposure. The false color tools work by highlighting specific color ranges of luminance with a solid color overlay.

4K HDMI Input & Loop-Through Output

Aside from the 4K HDMI input for connection to 4K cameras, the FW568 boasts a 4K HDMI loop-through output. By connecting the HDMI output to a wireless transmitter, you can send the live signal to other monitors or to projectors.

Headphone Jack

The FW568's 3.5mm stereo jack enables you to plug in headphones to monitor audio.

Flexible Installation

The FW568 features standard 1/4"-20 mounting points (bottom and right side) for easy attachment to cameras and rigs. You can also mount it on top of your camera for use as an HD viewfinder.

Tilt Arm Mounting

The monitor mounts onto your camera using the included tilt arm via your camera's shoe mount or 1/4"-20 thread. The tilt arm enables 360° of tilt for flexible positioning. A cold shoe on the tilt arm lets you secure equipment, such as a microphone, LED light, or wireless receiver, that would otherwise be displaced from the camera's accessory shoe.

Power

For power, there's a 12 VDC input on the side and space for a battery plate on the back (rechargeable batteries are available separately). An optional dummy battery adapter cable can be used to extend runtime. There's also an 8.4 VDC output that can be used for powering your DSLR or mirrorless camera.

Sunshade

When shooting in bright sunlight, the included sunshade provides shade to ensure an effective monitoring environment.

No power cable....

Opened the package to find that it doesn't come with any way to power the device. There is no dc power adapter or anything. It seems totally unusual to buy a product and have it not come with some way to turn it on. I'm just supposed to have the right DC power supply laying around? Very disappointed.

This is a solid solution for your monitor needs in the field. My team and I cover a lot of military operations and we’ve taken this thing through some extreme conditions. Barring submerging it in water this piece of gear has seen us through some tough shoots. Wish it was a little brighter but the included hood works fine in sunnier conditions. Great price for a great piece of tech.

Great monitor

I needed a small framing monitor for a job, and to be honest I really wasn’t expecting too much for the price. The screen is sharp, peaking and expanded focus work really well. It’s not as ruggedly built as other monitors but that’s totally understandable for the price. If you need something small, lightweight and fairly color accurate and don’t want to spend too much this is perfect.

It was tough choosing something from feelworld, they have so many redundant models, but this seem to check most of my boxes. The only complaint I have is the way to install luts, it only has an ancient USB type port, I found a cable that I could connect to my computer, however you can't transfer the lut files this way, I need some sort of USB A to USB female so I can directly connect a flash drive with my lut files. Why it's like this is beyond me. Other than that it does everything as advertised, the image is really sharp and clear.
