Countryman E6I Overview

  • 1Description
  • 2Miniature Unobtrusive Design
  • 3Removable Cable
  • 4Omnidirectional Polar Pattern
  • 5Sensitivity Optimized for Speaking and Vocals

The beige Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses of worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

This omnidirectional version effectively rejects unwanted sound and feedback better than a lavalier in almost any way you wear it, so it's very user-friendly for new and experienced users alike. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained, and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with omnidirectional microphones.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon earpads. The flexible boom provides ease adjustability to accommodate multiuser applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections is available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is beige and features a TA4F connector for use with Shure AD1 and ADX Axient wireless transmitters.

Miniature Unobtrusive Design

A miniature omnidirectional capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.

Removable Cable

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters.

Omnidirectional Polar Pattern

The E6i omnidirectional earset rejects unwanted sound and feedback better than a lavalier almost any way you wear it, so it's very user-friendly for new and experienced users alike.

Sensitivity Optimized for Speaking and Vocals

This E6i's W6 sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture speech and vocals.

Will this work with Rode FilmMaker wireless transmitters?
Asked by: Dudley T.
Yes it will work. It is a 1/8 locking connector wired for Sennheiser systems. Sennheiser and Rode use the same pin configuration.
