So far so good! Easy to install

Really easy to install...only a couple screws and took about 5 minutes. Haven't really seen the benefit yet as I'm still waiting on 10Gbe to thunderbolt 3 adapters for our new editing MacBook Pros. I edit and store huge RED R3D Raw video files.

20GbE Link Aggregate thru Netgear 10Gb switch = REAL SPEED!!

This product is fantastic for anyone with a TON of data now, or anyone with the foresight to get AHEAD of their future data storage and protection needs. 500MB/s+ transfer rates to a PC with a Dual 10GbE card link aggregate enabled or even back to a 2009 MacPro tower with the same easy-to-add-in card will have you laughing at the most massive data libraries you've maybe spent the last 15+ years building. Keep in mind too that this is at ANY cable distance - not even an option with lesser technologies - yes you know who you are TB. ALL very affordable... unless your data just isn't worth it. So... is it? ;-)

How does this card compare to the new "Synology E10M20-T1 M.2 SSD & 10GbE Combo Adapter Card"? When using it with DS 1819+ do I want one 10G port and cache drives or just two 10G ports? What's the benefit of two 10Ge ports? I will be using with a Mac.
Asked by: Robert
This card can offer two 10GBE ports to allow multiple computers to connect to a faster workflow. for a single workstation it may be more beneficial to connect to one 10GBE and having cache drives
