Nano IPS Display

The Nano IPS display offers 98% DCI-P3 coverage for vivid color, which makes it ideal for users who deal with color-sensitive work.

VESA DisplayHDR 600 Certified

This display is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified, which ensures real-time contrast ratios with local dimming, a visible increase in color gamut, and a high brightness rating for notable highlights.

Really bad uniformity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The uniformity of this screen is so bad that I cannot explain. On 100% brightness is fine but when you bring down the brightness is horrifying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this back when the shutdown started , since we were all going to be spending more time behind the screens I decided I need an upgrade. I've had it for a little over a year and I've experienced no problems. This monitor delivers! Set up with a macbook pro. Looking into getting another one. If you're looking for a monitor and you can afford it definitely go for this one.

Worked great for 6 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor to use with both my MacBook Air via thunderbolt and Dell PC laptop via HDMI. Worked great for 6 months then bottom half of screen was blurred out. After a few more days complete screen blurred out. Stuck now with a worthless monitor.

Its been a year and this is my favorite monitor

This monitor is perfect for my use case which is mostly graphic design and photo editing. I've used it to play video games as well and games look great on it, but obviously this is a 60Hz monitor and not designed for high refresh gaming.

Annoying pop up screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it first powers up there is a pop up screen that says to use the supplied cables. It goes away after a few seconds but I can never click on the message itself to tell it to go away. A second issue is I cannot adjust the brightness, either from the system preferences or the key board. I am running Mac OS Big Sur. Other than that it is a very nice display. Very clear and very sharp.

Perfect for WFH!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect setup and real estate for my WFH needs. I have two 2018-2019 MBP connected through TB3 and DP, controlling both through the Samsung Dual Controller app. Works like a charm!

Low Quality Stand for a Decent Monitor

By MRSmithA

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor and less than a week of having it set up, I bumped into my desk and it fell face forward, and the screen was scratched, cracked and had some serious damage. It was very disappointing as I had to pay for the repair as this wasn't covered under warranty. My other dell monitors and iMac (on the same desk) were completely unaffected by this low impact. I had read 1-2 reviews prior stating that the stand that comes with this monitor is cheap and a bit wobbly. I sent the monitor in for repair and have since received it. So far it seems to work great and I now have the monitor on a high quality monitor arm that is mounted to my desk. I am pleased with the quality. I have noticed a slight flicker on the screen, which isn't too bothersome yet. My biggest takeaway so far is if you're going to invest in this monitor, buy a good quality monitor arm or stand.

Gorgeous display with minor drawbacks

I've had this display for four months now and I'm very pleased with it. I use it with a 13 MacBook Pro and they make a great combo. It's reasonably bright, with rich colors and excellent viewing angles. The Thunderbolt interface is a game changer, allowing you to connect your MacBook with a single Thunderbolt cable, with the display acting as a rudimentary dock. This is what separates this from monitors costing half as much. The display includes high quality cables for every interface (Thunderbolt, HDMI, DisplayPort), which is a nice touch. A 32 display with 4K resolution may not be Retina, but the PPI roughly matches non-Retina Apple screens, displaying the macOS interface without any of the ugly scaling effects seen on 27 and smaller 4K displays. I have fairly decent eyesight (rarely wear glasses) and text and graphics look fine to me. Minor quibbles: You can't control brightness or built-in speaker volume from your Mac, and the display has no ambient light sensor. So you will need to manually adjust its brightness to adapt to changing light conditions using the display's one-button menu system. I wish it had dedicated buttons for brightness, at least, but I don't consider this a deal breaker. As for audio volume, I usually use AirPods and rarely use the display's built-in speakers, so that lets me control the volume from my MacBook. This display delivers up to 60W of power, which is suitable for a 13 or 14 MacBook/MacBook Pro. But it will be insufficient to power a 15 or 16 model, so those would require a separate power cable. Finally, the included stand is kind of cheap and flimsy, with a solid aluminum base coupled with a telescoping plastic column. It's adequate, but I'd recommend replacing it with a nice monitor arm.

hi I just confuse with the specifications tht been given in here.. this monitor is LCD? but in LG store they said it is LED monitor.. and last question is this monitor support for color grading? which monitor that you think good for color? this monitor or Dell UP2719Q?
Asked by: Kamal
It's an LED HDR Monitor. You don't get those on LCDs. Here's what the actual manufacturers (LG) say about it: "Delicate Color Expression Nanometer-sized particles on the screen's LED absorb excess light wavelengths, realizing richer color expression that accurately reproduces all content, from actual images and videos to CG." I'd most definitely believe their words instead of a retailer that probably has no clue about the manufacturing process. Not to bash B&H, but if there's a mistake in wording, it would be them making the mistake, and not LG

Does LG's "OnScreen" software actually work on the latest MacOS Catalina?
Asked by: Nick
Hey Murali, that's what I thought too, I didn't see any Mac OS downloads from their website either, but the B&H staffer said there is mac software...so it's still a mystery...I asked LG's tech support over a week ago and have yet to receive any meaningful response. I also suspect that you can't use the mac's keyboard shortcuts to adjust the brightness even if they did have software available (lol)...Oh well, I decided against buying this. It only has a 1 year warranty anyway, kind of ridiculous considering almost every single other high end monitor in the industry comes with a 3 year warranty.
