Has there been a design change to accommodate the thinner MBP's?Does the front lip of the stand protrude above the MacBook Pro's top surface?

the front lip of the stand does protrude up , enough to keep the device in place. nothing over extended, when you have the laptop open. the front lip sits flush with the 'lid' closed. exactly flush. the finger slot is a perfect opening for you to raise the laptop 'lid'. the stand works really well with the latest MBP's.
