Celestron 10x32 Nature DX Binoculars

The 10x32 Nature DX Binoculars from Celestron are weather-sealed binoculars designed for close-to-midrange observations. These lightweight binoculars weigh less than 2 lb and are compact enough to fit in a cargo pocket. In addition to the Nature DX series' streamlined form factor, these fixed-magnification binoculars also feature fully multicoated optics and phase-corrected BAK-4 prisms that render enhanced clarity and color fidelity. An immersive 58° apparent viewing angle and impressive 6.5 ft minimum focus distance complement the 10x32 lens system and help provide a user-friendly glassing experience. The Nature DX binoculars have a nitrogen-filled polycarbonate housing that is built to withstand heavy rain and deliver fogproof performance, making these Celestron binoculars ready for a wide range of outdoor glassing activities.

Celestron Basic Smartphone Digiscoping Adapter (1.25")

Capture still images and videos of celestial and terrestrial objects with virtually any smartphone through almost any 1.25" eyepiece with Celestron's Basic Smartphone Digiscoping Adapter. Ideal for telescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, monoculars, microscopes, and any other type of optic with an eyepiece, the design allows it to be used on most oculars with outside diameters between 29mm (1.14") and 45mm (1.77"). The rigid frame is made of sturdy and lightweight aluminum with non-slip padding on clamping points to secure it to your eyepiece and mount your smartphone without marking or marring its surfaces. A clamping system holds the adapter securely on the eyepiece and locks in place, while an adjustment system allows for precise phone camera alignment.

Would these binoculars survive if they are fully submerged?

It depends on depth and duration. It would probably survive a very brief and shallow dunking. But unless they rate it for immersion, you have to assume water would enter.

My eyes have different prescriptions. Does anyone know if the Celestron 8x42 Nature DX has a dioptric correction feature?

Sorry I could not answer sooner....I was on an extended trip and my cell phone would not connect to this response box. Now that I am back on a regular pc, I can confirm that these binoculars, which I own, do have dioptric correction for the right eye piece.

i think they would be great. I use mine all the time for animals and birds. These also work well in low light. Added bonus.... they are light weight. I highly recommend them.
