The KNPA-U16 SP3 EEB Motherboard from ASUS is built on the AMD EPYC 7000 processor, an SoC platform that delivers advanced performance for servers. With up to 32 cores per CPU and 64 threads, the KNPA-U16 delivers power in a minimal 12 x 13" EEB form factor. Sixteen 288-pin DIMM slots support up to 2048GB (2TB) of 2666 and 2400 MHz RDIMM, LRDIMM, and LR-DIMM 3DS memory. RDIMMs are supported for 8, 16, and 32GB modules, LRDIMMs are supported for 32 and 64GB modules, and LR-DIMM 3DS is supported for 64 and 128GB modules. Additionally, an integrated I/O controller on the processor helps to eliminate the data transfer bottlenecks caused by discrete I/O chipsets for reduced latency and faster system performance.
