Marshall Stanmore II Reviews
Solid sounding Bluetooth speaker
I put this on top of my grand piano for listening to songs from my iPhone while playing piano. Solid, full range of sound, better than JBL Extreme 2 it's replacing. It looks very nice as well. However, one downside: it has quite audible floor hiss/noise when not playing anything. The JBL does not.
Quick delivery!
Quick delivery and excellent price!
Nice Sound great look
I used this speaker to connect to my vinyl record player. The sound effect is great, and the bass is also very good. I haven't tried Bluetooth. The overall feeling is very good, very retro, I like it very much.
Loving the look and sound
Love the look and quality of this speaker. A family friend has one at their vacation home, which is perfect since all of the guests can easily connect their phones via Bluetooth. I purchased this speaker for my house and have really enjoyed it so far. The Alexa voice commands work from almost anywhere in the house. Also, the music from my cell phone does not stop playing when I make or answer a phone call. I would definitely recommend this speaker for a gift or personal use.
Great Sound
I really think this is among the best sounding speakers as far as Bluetooth speakers go. The only reason I dropped a star was because this is my second one. The first won lasted over 3 yrs but is now dead. I like it enough to give it one more try.
Good not great
Sound is very bassy and warm at mid- high volume but goes totally flat and dull at lower volumes. Almost too much bass at higher volumes even with bass controls turned down - and I like bass- but distorts and muddied music overall. I like the analogue bits and various input options very much, seems well made, retuned it so can’t say long term.
Using 2 for stereo
The box is very good. However, I bought it - my second one - so I could have stereo sound. Blue Tooth was a bit frustratingly tricky to get to recognize both boxes and play in stereo. Instructions from Marshall are poor & software not so good. But once working correctly, Very good sound!
Top product and service
Quick delivery (less than 5 days to France), good communication = TOP Service . Nice product . Lack of basses a bit, but no distorsion and top finition.
