Dynamic Microphone
The M-70 doesn't require batteries or phantom power to operate. Just plug it in, set your levels, and go to work.
Solid Metal Construction
The M-70 features a durable all-metal construction that ensures if the mic is dropped or bumped, it will survive the rigors of the road or stage.
XLR Output
The balanced XLR output ensures that you won't pick up unwanted static or hum from interference into the signal path.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The M-70's cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis sound and focuses on the sound directly in front of the mic capsule. This helps prevent feedback in a live room with a PA system and rejects the audio-bleed from speakers while focusing on your voice or instrument.
Wide Frequency Response
The M-70 captures sound with a 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and is designed to capture the nuances of your voice or instrument in full detail.
Classic Design
The M-70 microphone's tapered shape, rounded grille, and gray matte finish is built with a classic, natural look.

The specs state that the "Circuitry" is "solid state" but if it is a dynamic microphone without transistors or ICs then there are no solid state devices, just wires. What exactly does the "circuitry" consist of?
Asked by: Lou
There are no active electronics in this microphone. Just a magnet and a voice coil.
