Keep your home safe with the 5-piece Alarm Security Kit from Ring. This kit includes a base station, a keypad, a contact sensor for doors and windows, a motion detector, and a range extender. The base station connects to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and links to the rest of the included alarm components and select third-party devices via Z-Wave wireless protocol. This base station is equipped with a 110 dB siren to deter intruders. An included 24-hour backup battery, along with optional cellular backup via a Ring Protect Plus subscription (available separately) ensures that coverage will remain intact in the event of a power or internet outage.
The keypad can be mounted or used as a standalone portable device to arm and disarm the system. It features a disarmed mode to deactivate the sensors, an away mode to activate the sensors, and a home mode to activate select sensors to fit your requirements. The keypad can be used from up to 250' away from the base station. The contact sensor alerts you via the Ring app whenever a door or window is open. It can be placed on a door or window frame up to 250' away from the base station. Additionally, the contact sensor will trigger an alarm when it is tampered with.
The motion detector can be placed on any wall or corner in your home to alert you whenever motion is detected. Advanced motion sensitivity prevents false alarms from pets. The range extender extends the signal from the base station by an additional 250', eliminating dead zones in your home. The plug-and-play installation of the range extender makes setup a seamless process.
