Novoflex NIKZ/LEM Reviews
Just Fantastic
Being able to use my Leica M-mount lenses on my Nikon Z cameras is just fantastic. Using focus peaking on the cameras has made manually focusing the lenses a breeze, and it allows me to slow down a bit and focus (no pun intended) on the process. Even my older Leica lenses have produced great results on my Nikon Z9. The mount itself is well made with a nice solid feel clicking the lens into place and likewise, when attaching the ring to the camera. I'm sorry I waited so long to purchase the ring. I'm really enjoying using my Leica lenses again.
Too notch
My m mounted Voigtlander and Zeiss glass work vey well with this adapter. Fits tight with no light leaks. Novoflex is very well made.
Expen$ive But Worth It (probably)
I am using this Novoflex adapter to mount a Voigtlander 40mm F/1.4 SC to a Nikon Z7-ii. Works great. Nice tight fit. Focussing on the Voigtlander is perfect. I hate paying so much money for a black metal ring with some ridges on it, but I do not see the wisdom of using a $20 adapter to connect a world class lens to a $3000 camera... I plan to get another Novoflex for the Fuji X-Mount... Voigtlander 4-ever!!!
Does exactly what I want it to
Although I can use this with any of my Leica M lenses, admittedly I bought this adapter specifically for one lens that I can put on the Z7ii, and head out into the desert. Results have been exactly as expected. Solid build, and works perfectly.
Note sure if I need to spend the $$$
I am not sure if I needed to spend the big bucks on this rather expensive hunk of cylindrical metal, but after reading the reviews on all of the lens adapters, I decided that: (A) I have a $3000 camera, (B) I am adapting a Leica-class lens to said camera, (C) so I should not risk spoiling A+B by going cheap on an adapter.
Wonderful
Expensive but works excellent.
Works perfectly
Use this on my z5 with Leica and Zeiss lenses All is good
