This is just the cats meow. The other one is too big to use in your lap while chilling on the couch or in a cafe... this is a perfect size for having a comfortable drawing session. And of course comes with all the accoutrements of any other illustration pad. Perfect pen pressure, etc.

My first tablet was a wacom bamboo , ever since I really wanted one with a display bitcouldn't afford one cause they are really expensive. Until this one came with an affordable price. I am so happy to have this. Though not a touch screen but still gets the job done. A very good display size, not too big and not too small. Resolution is great. And I am really enjoying using this with adobe photoshop.

My first reaction was that it was way too big and a bit unwieldy but after a couple days i realized it has to be this way. it would have received 5 stars but i do have 2 issues: drawing at the level of the built in feet is bad for neck and back so i had to buy the WACOM STAND. that should not be an added accessory. i realize they are trying to keep the price down but many people find the same thing. Second thing is they should use USB-C connectors. once i got used to the display and the parallax issue, this is a great display and works very well.

Love my Cintiq 16. I have paired it with my MacBook Pro. I paired it with a Hyper Drive adapter with an HDMI port. The pen glides smooth, an comfortable to use. Ready to expand my digital drawing knowledge. Only negative I have about the tablet is the brightness and color gamut. But I’m beginning tablet user. I will step up when it’s time, if i choose to continue digital drawing.

I am very satisfied with my Wakom. I use it for linoleum studies, its sensitivity to my pulse and the quality of the image are extraordinary. It is the right size to have it on my desk with the computer display.

Replacement nibs are important. Wacom's included nibs will not last you that much. If you're travelling a lot a carrying case for the pen will come in handy.

I want to use this strictly for spotting scanned film in PS and would like it to be mirrored with my existing graphics monitor...is this possible (Windows 10)?
Asked by: Greg
not so sure what you mean about spotting.... but the cintiq is great, but entry level. not the latest or greatest by any means. you can use it for some photoshopping, but it won't work with 4k. not a bad deal if you can get rid of the screen clutter, and just deal with the artwork. plugged in worked great, just limited in size.

Does this work with Debian derivatives? Wacom drivers are available in Ubuntu repositories. One by Wacom (not Wacom one, the one with display) works with Linux. I wonder if cintiqs are supported.
Asked by: Rahul
have had the cintiq working on linux (mint). had to install a few drivers, works fine . have not managed to get the touchscreen to work however, so not obvious, perhaps can try again, but not first time around. I beleve it's the controls on the wacom itself, but no gui to fix that sort of thing. it just works with the applications (gimp, blender, inkskape)
