My camera can send timecode, via HDMI, to an audio recorder. Will that timecode pass through this monitor's HDMI output so I can still do this?
Asked by: David
Far as I can tell with the A8 is that it'll loop thru the HDMI exactly as it comes into the monitor. I do not have an audio recorder that uses HDMI so I cannot test that myself. I would imagine if the monitor itself supports timecode display, then it's likely passing the timecode on to the loop output (especially if it's not altering the signal it receives in the loop).

I'd like to mount this on the same tripod as my camera but not on the camera's hot shoe mount. What's a good clamp to buy which will connect to the 1/4" mount on the video monitor?
Asked by: Jeremy
The Axler AA-7 Recodo Articulating Arm (7") has an 8 pound load capacity, it is a great option. You would just need a product like the Impact Atom Clamp with Ratchet Handle to clamp it to your tripod. Arm - B&H # AXAA7 https://bhpho.to/2wnbx1E Clamp - B&H # IMME100 https://bhpho.to/2K2BAWf
