The Audix D4 Instrument Microphone with Mounting System and Cable Kit from B&H includes the D4 hypercardioid dynamic drum and instrument microphone, CAB-GRAB1 microphone mounting system for guitar amplifiers, premium performance XLR to XLR microphone cable, MC2 5/8"-27-thread microphone clip, European stand adapter (3/8" to 5/8"), and zippered carrying pouch. This kit can be used to capture audio in studio and live sound applications for guitar amplifiers.

  • Audix D4 - Hypercardioid Dynamic Drum and Instrument Microphone

    The Audix D4 drum microphone offers both the frequency and sensitivity response useful for accurately recording drums and percussion instruments. The D4 features a dynamic element capable of reproducing signals with high transients peaks without producing the noise associated with distortion and overloading the capsule.

    Its 40 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response allows you to capture large instruments low fundamentals—instruments such as kick drums, djembes, kettle drums, floor toms, and more. Its hypercardioid polar pattern provides a tight pick up area at the front of the capsule, making sure that ambiance and noise present at the off-axis sections of the microphone are greatly reduced.
