Elgato Cam Link 4K Reviews
The standard for a reason
There's a reason this capture card is so popular - it just works. I use it to plug in a mirrorless camera to my computer for video calls and streaming. It was easy to set up and works flawlessly. At $100 it is well worth it. I'm not even aware of any competitors, and I don't know why you'd bother to seek one out.
Cannot recommend this product. Please avoid it.
This product is terrible. I have to spend at least five to ten minutes before every video call pulling this product in and out of the USB port because it is always missing either the green channel or the red channel, and the image is a weird color. Also, the DSLR camera has to be readjusted for focus constantly and doesn't retain the previously fixed focal point. It's annoying, and I cannot recommend anyone ever to be hassled this way with a product meant to carry the image from a camera to the computer without such interruptions.
