Secure Grip
The S-R1 adapter slides onto rectangular flash heads to provide a round magnetic mounting point. Gridded rubber mats on the inside surface of the adapter provide scratch-free grip, and a knurled knob on top helps tighten the adapter around flashes of different sizes.
Fast, Magnetic Mounting
Round magnetic modifier attaches to most square-shaped flashes such as Nikon, Canon, and Sony.
Available Kit
The optional AK-R1 kit features a number of modifiers and accessories, including a dome diffuser, four-way barndoors, a diffuser plate, a bounce card, honeycomb grid, color filters, and a snoot.

this is makeshift setup .... take up lot of space in back, add weight with already heavy speedlight....

I had no idea this existed. It lets me use the Godox round head accessories on a 860 series Godox speedlight. I use the dome diffuser and bounce card accessories with it. I also did not know those could be bought separately from the accessories kit. In a world where companies charge $30 for a piece of $2 plastic, it's refreshing to see this for less than $10. Brilliant! My only suggestion would be if it could be a bit less bulky.

Good adapter

Since I have a round head flash and diffuser, this works very well with other rectangular heads.

This is a good alternative to the H200R head if all you need is the ability to use the round magnetic filter set from Godox. I have it on my second AD200 in case it, too, needs a filter or small modifier. Attaches securely and easily, though the big screw handle may get in the way of some modifiers.

Just what I needed.

After buying the new V1 and magnetic light modifier kit I realized that I could use those accessories on all of my old rectangular flashes with this inexpensive and well made adapter. No more Velcro!

Simple, Cheap & Works Well

It would get 5 star if it had a built in solution for smaller flash units. Lighter & smaller flash units such as - 350TT or V350, will probably become more popular, with light morrorless cameras, and they should benefit this adapter as well

The H200 does fit on the Ad200Pro. We have tested it at the SuperStore. Alternatively you can use this adapter with a Ad200 or Ad200Pro.

Will this fit the V350?
Asked by: Nicholas
No, the Godox S-R1 does not work on the Godox V350 or TT350 flash heads because they are too small for the modifier adapter. According to information online, Godox recommends shimming them in order for them to fit this adapter, but we find that to be unreliable.
