The Shinobi 5" 4K HDMI Monitor is an on-camera monitor with DCI 4K, UHD 4K, and HD video input. It features a 10-bit FRC IPS screen with a brightness of 1000 cd/m², which makes it suitable for use in both exterior and interior conditions. The AtomHDR display technology allows you to accurately monitor your log gamma footage without having to view flat, washed-out looking images or use a LUT to compress the dynamic range and color space. Using this with my canon 6D, screen isn’t full and the image it shows isn’t even clear. Any ideas?
The Canon 6D does not have a Clean HDMI output that sends out a full HD signal. This is simply a limitation of the camera.

The Atomos Shinobi 5 cannot be powered directly via USB-C. You can use a Dummy NPF battery with USB-C to gain power from this method.

Will this monitor work with Sony a6400 4K from camera?
Yes! I use this Shinobi with my Sony a6500 shooting 4K. Needs an HDMI D (Micro) to HDMI cable to connect. I use this monitor on my Ronin-S gimbal with a6500. The a6400 has same output and will work. This is a wonderful monitor that I highly recommend. K

No, the Atomos Shinobi will not see the 4K 60p output signal from the Panasonic Lumix S5 Mirrorless Camera. The Atomos Shinobi 5" 4K HDMI Monitor can accept HDMI signals up to 4096 x 2160 29.97p.
