Distinguished by speed, the Ibelux 40mm f/0.85 from Kipon is an exceptionally fast prime lens for FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras. The impressive f/0.85 maximum aperture affords extensive control over depth of field for isolating focus and it also benefits working in low-light conditions. The ten groups in eight elements optical design incorporates a front concave element, which helps to reduce color fringing and various aberrations in order to achieve a high degree of sharpness. The all-metal construction realizes a rugged physical design, and the lens barrel's exterior also incorporates both depth of field and focusing distance scales for more accurate focus control. Additionally, a ten-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality to suit working with shallow depth of field techniques.

KIPON 40mm f/0.85 Reviews
Very interesting lens

I have this lens for a year. It is a very heavy lens, and on my PEN-F it looks oversized. Building quality is good. Wide open, the lens is reasonably sharp and has chromatic aberrations. Since I shoot mostly in B&W, it is not an annoyance to me. I use this lens when luminosity is low, at night or inside, and I shoot wide open. Depth of field is extremely narrow even on M43, and it is not always easy to (manually) focus. The focus ring has a long rotational travel. Globally, it allows to make nice images in places where you cannot use a flash, and its soft character makes it ideal for subtile portrait. I like it very much.

I would like to know whether this lens can mount on Sony Alpha 7 SII?
For A7SII you would need B&H # KI40F85SNMK2 which is the Sony E-Mount Version of this lens. However this lens covers an APS-C Sensor only, the A7SII need to be in a cropped mode to work with the lens.

Yes, it'll be able to mount but do keep in mind that it is APS-C format and not full-frame so it'll be in Super 35 format for video.

Is it possible to use this lens on a Sony A7r4? Should i use it in crop mode? Thanks
It will work, the camera will likely automatically crop it due it being a crop lens. In case that it doesn't just manually put the camera in APS-C mode

how does this lens compare to the Russian Zenit ...
how does this lens compare to the Russian Zenit zenitar 50mm .95?
The largest difference is the KIPON Ibelux 40mm f/0.85 Lens for Sony E is a crop lens (APS-C) and the Zenitar 50mm f/0.95 Lens for Sony E is full frame.
The Zenitar has a De-Clicked, Stepless Aperture Ring. So, very good for video use.
Both are sharp lenses.

is there any other option for full frame E-Mount as fast as this one?
There is not at the moment. This lens is also not a full frame lens. It's an APS-C Sony lens.
This here would be the fastest FE lens for Sony cameras.
