Cost for the L mount version I bought is nearly twice the cost of Sony E mount, but I'm not complaining! The lens is simply great! Perfect fit to L mount on my Sigma fp L, smooth focus and aperture rings, good sharpness across the frame at F5.6 and up, very nice bokeh at any aperture, and excellent punch and contrast. Bokeh is natural, without busyness, quite old fashioned and nice I think. All this without large size and heavy weight. I have had trouble finding completely manual third party lenses for L mount. There aren't many out there. Sigma and Panasonic and Leica have plenty of electronified lenses but no manuals except maybe astronomically expensive cine lenses. I read some good reviews for this Kipon 75, so decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. The only issue I have, and it is not really an issue, is the clickless aperture ring. I prefer click stops but that's OK. This is a great lens that I like a lot! Remember this is a completely manual lens (manual focus and manual aperture) without electronics of any kind. Because of this your camera won't know it is mounted and will not be able to know focal length, focus distance, aperture setting etc.

Not for the video :(

Bought this for my Komodo: the lens is nicely built with one of the best bokeh of 75-85 range, but the BREATHING is worse than averything I've seeing before. Focusing from the infinity to close magnifies the image almost twice!

Excellent lens

I bought the 35mm and the 75mm. The 35mm didn’t impress me. Color was fine. Construction was excellent. It just didn’t do it for me. The 75mm is turning into a solid performer and stays on my camera most of the time. Color, sharpness, contrast and construction are excellent. With in body stabilization, focus and exposure at slow speeds are not a problem for this focal length. A great lens for my H-1 at a very low price.

Like it.

Solid construction, smooth operation, excellent contrasty B and W. Nice color but not as vivid as I would like. Somewhat soft at f2.4 but better by f5.6. Need more time to fully evaluate. Reasonably priced for Chinese lens designed in Germany.

This Fuji X-Mount Kipon iBerit 75mm f2.4 lens was designed by IBE Optics in Germany and built by Shanghai Transvision (Kipon) in China. There are also 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 90mm lens in the set. They all take 49mm filters and have the same diameter. They were also designed to compete against m-mount lenses from Leica, Zeiss, and Voigtlander and look like m-mount lenses. The body exterior is all metal with glass optics and even has a metal 49mm screw-on front lens cap. I use this on one of my Fujifilm X-T2 bodies and find the manual focus is easy with the X-T2 manual focus assistance, especially with peaking.

Performance goes way beyond the price

I've been looking at this lens for close to a year now and I finally decided to order it. My highest focal range before this lens was 40mm. I usually prefer the shorter primes, but wanted to see what a longer prime offers. I am super happy with the focal length and the perforce. It's very sharp, handles color nicely, and has great ergonomics. I use this on a Fujifilm Xpro2.
