Sescom SES-XLR-ISO-02 Overview

The Sescom SES-XLR-ISO-02 is a dual-channel audio isolation transformer. Its function is to eliminate the differences in grounding points between equipments that can cause AC power currents to muddy up the signal path. With two transformer-isolated XLR paths and independent switchable ground-lifts, the box can remove the buzz and hum associated with ground loops.

The coupling transformers provided within the box are designed to reject the noise present in the input signal, thereby giving you a cleaner audio signal on the way out. The box itself is fashioned out of a durable compact aluminum housing. It's relatively compact and lightweight, taking up only 6.0 x 2.5 x 2.0" of space at 2 lb.
