Get 850nm infrared and visible illumination from a single two-in-one solution with the VARIO2 IP PoE hy8-1 Long-Range Hybrid Network Illuminator from Raytec. Equipped with 12 semi-covert 850nm IR LEDs and 12 white light LEDs, the VARIO2 IP PoE hy8-1 provides up to 951' of IR and 472' of visible illumination to help cameras produce clear images in a variety of surveillance scenarios. This hybrid illuminator can be integrated into an IP network for convenient remote control. PoE technology simplifies installation, enabling you to run a single cable for both data and power. Suitable for outdoor use, the illuminator is housed in an IP66-rated weather-resistant enclosure.

Two-in-One Hybrid Solution
This fully integrated hybrid unit combines the functions of an infrared and a white light illuminator. IR illumination allows night vision cameras to produce clear B&W images in complete darkness. The white light can be used to deter intruders and/or to capture color video in otherwise dark environments.

Hot-Spot Reduction Technology (HRT)
Hot-Spot Reduction Technology (HRT) produces a highly diffused, elliptical beam to deliver light where it is needed, maximizing the illumination range and minimizing light wastage. HRT also prevents overexposure of foreground objects.
