Having spent years using much more expensive turntables professionally, I am enjoying the amazing quality of the AT-LP60X right out of the box! Super easy to setup, super simple to use, and SUPER satisfying to listen to! For home use, this unit is outstanding!

After years of being on the fence about getting a turntable I took the plunge. A good pair of powered speakers and this turntable has gotten me listening. Impressed with the ease of use. VERY simple. This is a highly recommended turntable..... almost anywhere you seek guidance. I see why. Find it for less than $150 and it is a no brainer. Not much you can upgrade. Yet that is why it is a great choice to START with.

Exactly what the title says, I bought this a few weeks ago. It's a great entry level device, and produces reasonably good quality. Would definitely recommend for a first timer.

Could I use the phono pre-amp to plug bookshelf speakers such as the Sony SS-CS5 directly to the turntable, or would I need an additional receiver?

Passive bookshelf speakers like the Sony SS-CS5 3-Way Bookshelf Speaker (Pair) BH #SOSSCS5 require power from an AV receiver or amplifier. They cannot be connected directly to this or any other similar turntable.

Yes, as others have said with the push of a button you can start playing and it will return once it reaches the end of a record.

How do you put the belt on?

The platter has the belt installed and has red tape on the top to help you put it in place. With the platter on the record player , position the red tape to the top left and you will see a small motor spindle, remove the red tape and you should see the belt move with it. Position the belt around the spindle and you're all set.

What speakers will work with this turntable, and do I need to buy additional cords to connect them?

You can use any powered speakers with the AT-LP60X. A few examples of compact solutions we offer are the Kanto YU2, the Edifier R1280T, the PreSonus Eris E3.5, as well as the Mackie CR3-X. Each of these speaker models include RCA cable that can be used directly with your AT-LP60X turntable.

The LP60 unfortunately does not have any internal speakers. You will need to connect the unit to a speaker system.

This particular LP60 does not support Bluetooth. it will only be able to connect to a speaker with an audio cable.
